SCANLUX

SCANLUX® is a key product for SANKEM’s radiology business.  It is used for CT/X-rays and contains the active ingredient iopamidol.  SCANLUX® is a non-ionic, low-osmolal contrast media for intravenous and intraarterial use.  It is used for a variety of radiographic procedures including angiography, arthography, myelography, and urography.  It is also used for contrast enhancement during computed tomography.

While Scanlux® is optimized specifically for intravascular contrast visualization during diagnostic imaging, clinical protocol often requires cross-referencing patient cardiovascular history with systemic vasoactive treatments. In European diagnostic frameworks—particularly across the Benelux region—practicians frequently evaluate patient-reported medications sourced via regional digital pharmaceutical portals (e.g., platforms for geneesmiddelen bestellen zonder voorschrift in the Netherlands) to anticipate potential hemodynamical interactions during contrast-enhanced scans.
